Alta Bates Medical Group is now part of Health Net's Blue & Gold HMO. Open enrollment for UC employees and non-Medicare retirees is now through Tuesday, November 22.
Alta Bates Medical Group is pleased to inform you that we are now one of the physician networks in Health Net’s Blue & Gold HMO insurance plan for 2012. This is good news as the Blue & Gold plan offers exceptional value, coordination of care, prescription drug coverage, and valuable extras. As a member of Alta Bates Medical Group, you will also have access to hundreds of high quality specialist physicians in our network, and the peace of mind of knowing that such fine hospitals like Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, Children’s Hospital Oakland, and health care facilities are in your network.
When making your choices this fall during Open Enrollment, you can now select Alta Bates Medical Group as part of Health Net’s Blue & Gold HMO. Unfortunately, ABMG physicians will not appear in Health Net's Provider Search tool (at www.healthnet.com/uc) because they can not be added to the Blue & Gold database until January 2012. You will need your ABMG PCP's Provider ID #, which you can find Health Net's general Provider Search tool or in the 2012 Blue & Gold HMO Directory (PDF version of PCPs only) found on www.healthnet.com/uc - Provider Search & Directories (p.29).
