We are an Independent Physicians Association that has served patients in Oakland, Berkeley and the greater East Bay since 1983. We are comprised of more than 600 physicians and serve 50,000 health plan members.

Exceptional Physicians, Quality Care
Alta Bates Medical Group is owned and managed by our doctors. We have 200 primary care physicians, and more than 400 specialty care physicians throughout the East Bay. Members of our diverse community of patients receive personal attention in private physician offices.
